Massive Entertainment AB is a Swedish video game developer based in Malmo Sweden. The company is fully owned by Ubisoft since 2008.
Massive Entertainment was founded in 1997 by Martin Walfisz. In 2000 they released an award winning game Ground Control (video game). In 2002 they where acquired by Vivendi Games before that Sierra Entertainment owned Massive.
On 6th august 2008 Activision Blizzard put Massive up for sale because Vivendi merged with activation in 2008. Later that year Ubisoft came around and brought Massive Martin later left Massive in 2009.
